Greeting Brethren and Happy New Year!

     I think everyone enjoys the approach of a new year. And most of us appreciate this season’s unique opportunity to asses what we’ve accomplished during the past 12 months and also consider what we’ll aspire to achieve in the 12 months ahead. I look back on 2004 with a great deal of satisfaction. I hope you do to. As a lodge, we achieved many milestones, as members we rallied to every challenge-committed to moving our lodge forward toward a successful future. Certainly, you and your families played a critical role in that endeavor. And I’d like to thank you on behalf of our lodge for your hard work, dedication and your many important accomplishments. Now, of course, it’s time for us to focus on 2005 and our goal to make it our best year ever. Certainly, our lodge has a number of activities in the works that will entice your attendance. We expect great things and are confident that every member will contribute in ways that will take us where we need to go.

     Toward that end, we’re launching our FSL activation campaign today, asking you to activate your enthusiasm for our work by never attending one of our events alone. Call a lodge brother, bring your family or invite a guest to attend with you. I am confident your 2005 officers will set the example for our craft to follow, however it will only be through all our efforts that we realize the success we seek in this area. It will be my sincere honor to serve as your Master this year. I excitedly anticipate a year filled with great accomplishments. Here’s looking forward to a healthy, happy and prosperous 2005.
